Contact us
One address, read by a person, for absolutely everything.
We aim to reply within five working days. Accessibility problems and alarm bugs are prioritised ahead of everything else.
What people usually write to us about
Something is broken
Tell us the page, your browser and what happened. Alarm bugs get looked at first, because a broken alarm is worse than no alarm.
We got a fact wrong
Please say which page and what is wrong. If you can point to a better source, even better. We correct things and note the change.
Accessibility problem
High priority. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use if you are able to.
Feature request
The tools are shaped almost entirely by what people ask for. Tell us what is missing.
Legal, privacy or press
Data requests, takedown notices and press enquiries all go to the same address and get a proper reply.
Before you write about an alarm that did not ring
Nine times out of ten it is one of these, and checking takes a minute:
- The tab was closed, or the browser was quit. A web page cannot run once it is gone.
- The device went to sleep. Check your power settings and keep it plugged in.
- The tab was muted. Right-click the tab and check.
- Audio was routed somewhere else — a disconnected headset or a powered-off speaker.
- You never pressed a button on the page, so the browser never unlocked audio playback. Press Test the sound once after setting an alarm.
If you have been through all of that and it still failed, please do write — with your browser, operating system and roughly what happened. That is genuinely useful to us.
